[[Walter R. Foss]], 73, of 1011 N. Grant St., Wooster, died suddenly Thursday night at his home. He was on the Board of Directors of [[Wooster Brush Company, The|Wooster Brush Co.]] and was a charter member of Wooster [[Rotary Club]].

Memorial services will be Monday at 4:30 p.m. at [[McConnell Funeral Home]] with Rev. John {{Surname|Kindsvatter}} of [[Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (Wooster, Ohio)|Zion Lutheran Church]] and Rev. Eugene {{Surname|Buxton}} of [[St. James Episcopal Church (Wooster, Ohio)|St. James Episcopal]] officiating. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in [[Wooster Cemetery]].

He was born Oct. 9, 1897, in Wooster to Walter David and Mary ({{Surname|Jolley}}) {{Surname|Foss}}. He graduated from [[Wooster High School]] and received an A.B. degree from Harvard in 1919.
