- Vanwert County SS } shall come
- { Seal } Whereas at the October Term of
- the Court of Common Pleas of said County of Van
- Wert the Reverend James McNabb produced
- to the Court credentials of his being a regular
- ordained minister of the Methodist Episcopal
- church. "It was ordered by the Court" "that a
- License issue to the said James McNabb
- authorizing him to Solemnize Marriages within
- the State of Ohio so long as he continues
- such regular ordained Minister" and he
- is hereby authorized to act accordingly
- In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set
- my hand and affixed my official seal
- as Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas pf
- said County of Vanwert the 9th day of
- October A.D. 1843

- County presented to the Court satisfactory
- credentials of his being a regular ordained
- Minister of the gospel in the Baptist Church
- and moved the Court to grant him a License
- to solemnize Marriages. Whereupon it was
- ordered by the Court that such license
- be issued to the said applicant
- Now therefore know all men by these presents
- that the said David P. Maryott is hereby
- licensed in pursuance of the order aforesaid
- to Solemnize Marriages throughout the State
- of Ohio so long as he shall remain such
- Minister
- In testimony whereof I have herunto
- subscribe my name and affix the seal

- Disciple Church to Solemnize Marriages within
- said State of Ohio so long as he shall remain such
- regular Minister in pursuance of the order of
- the Court of Common Pleas of said County made
- at the November Term thereof AD 1838

- of Ohio" it is ordered that a License be granted
- him to solemnize marriages within this state so long

- that Rufus Freeman jr is a regular ordained
- minister of the Gospel of the denominations
- usually called Baptists. It is ordered that a
- License be granted to the said Rufus Freeman jr
- authorizing him to solemnize marriages
- within said state so long as he shall continue
- such regular minister
- Now therefore Know ye that by virtue of
- the proceedings aforesaid and of the Statute
- in such case made and provided the
- said Rufus Freeman Jr is Licensed to sol
- emnize marriages as aforesaid

- tion usually called "United Brethren in Christ"

- this state as long as he shall continue such regular

- taken from the Journal of said Court,

- Court of Common Pleas Contin
- ued and held within and for the County
- aforesaid on the 6th day of April A.D. 1841
- On motion and it appearing to the satisfac
- tion of the Court that Liberty Prentice is a
- regular ordained minister of the Gospel of
- the Methodist Episcopal Church. It was
- ordered that he be licensed to solemnize
- marriages so long as he shall continue such
- regular ordained minister in said church
- Therefore in pursuance to said
- order and in conformity with the statute
- in such case made and provided license
- is hereby granted to the said Liberty
- Prentice to solemnize marriages so long
- as he shall continue such regular or=
- dained minister as aforesaid.
- In testimony whereof I have
- hereunto set my hand and affixed
- the seal of said Court at Perrysburgh
- this Fifteenth day of April A.D. 1841.

- North America and of your having charge
- of a congregation in said County upon the
- hearing of which the said court ordered
- that a License be issued to you to authorize
- you to solemnize marriages etc.
- Therefore be it known that you the said
- Reverend John Hall are hereby authorized empow
- ered and Licensed to solemnize marriages
- within the state of Ohio according to Law
- as long as you shall remain a regular
- minister in the said religious society
