The Record of Religious Incorporated Societies was donated to our department in 2015. It is in fragile condition. The dimensions of the book are 15" x 6 1/4". The first six pages of the book face the correct way. The Record of Religious Incorporated Societies, Part 2 remainder of the book was recorded beginning in the rear of the book and upside down.

- We hereby certify that the members of Sugar
- Creek Congregation in Sugar Creek township
- Wayne County on the third day of August
- eighteen hundred and twenty two met to the
- number of 22 members at the house of public worship
- for the purpose of carrying into effect the act of
- incorporation (the same being advertized and published
- according to law) did then and there proceed to elect
- three trustees, and one clerk for the aforesaid congre=
- gation, and after giving the above name to said
- Congregation request that those proceeding be recorded
