The oldest hotel that we are able to ascertain is the American House, Wooster that operated during the 1830's. A current hotel, St. Paul Hotel, is in a historical building in downtown Wooster. It recently underwent major renovation. Other fine lodging in Wooster include Bed & Breakfasts. Gasche House is housed in an old home built Gothic style. Downtown Wooster has many popular restaurants. Some include the City Square Steakhouse, Broken Rock, and many others throughout Wooster, Ohio. Other popular eating places may be found throughout Wayne County, Ohio.
