Biographical Sketch
Pearl Tormie was born in Wooster, Ohio in 1879 to John and Phebe Tormie. She lost her dad at a very young age when he was murdered by Callahan. Her mom remarried but later divorced her 2nd husband in Illinois when he was caught in the act of adultery.
Pearl Tormie began touring with the Bijou Musical Comedy Company in the early 1900s. Her husband, John W. Early, also worked for the Bijou Musical Comedy Company. They were married between 1903 and 1904 and had a daughter together about 1902. Her name was Glen Echo Early. As a young girl, Glen started to perform with her parents.
