- 1903 - October 3, Service from Cleveland to Wooster, Ohio began. [1]
- 1903 - The Cleveland Elyria & Western was consolidated with the three companies making up the Cleveland to Wooster route. The company was then known as The Cleveland & Southwestern Traction Co. which had a total of 135 miles. [2]
- 1929 - The depression in 1929 became the downfall of the closing the the railway in Wooster. [3]
- 1930 - July, Final bankruptcy for the Southwestern line. [4]
- 1930 - November, Permission was sought from Federal Court to cease operations. [5]
- 1931 - January 31, A hearing was held late January with permission granted to cease operations of the entire southern line from Cleveland to Wooster and Bucyrus, and between Oberlin and Wellington. [6]
