Boss (surname)
In your letter, you requested an obituary on Jon Frederick Boss who died in 1905. I do not believe this John Boss to be your John Boss. Working backwards from Charles Boss who died 25 October 1940 in Sugar Creek Twp, Wayne Co, OH we know that he is the son of John Boss and Maria Rupp, both of Bern, Switzerland. From the Dalton Gazette on 31 October 1940 p. 1, the following relatives attended the funeral of Charles Boss:
