The {{Surname|Blough}} Family Bible is a German Language Bible dating from the early 19th Century. The Bible cover was reinforced after publication with metal plates formed around corners and secured with rivets. Leather straps held in place by the metal plates and rivets were presumably added to protect the spine. The Bible once had leather straps securing the book while closed and are missing. The Binding of the {{Surname|Blough}} Family Bible is intact, in fair shape with only the first few pages loosened from the binding.
