Six sons were born to this union in Huntingdon Twp., Westmoreland, Pennsylvania : John Finley (1793-1870), James (1794-1882), William B. (1798-1845), Archibald Jr. (1801-1884), Reynolds Randall (1802-1845) and Henry (1805-1894). Archibald Ross died September 1850 at the age of 84 years in Holmes Co. Ohio. His wife Mary Ann Ross died in 1849. Archibald Ross purchased the southwest quarter of section 29 in [[Salt Creek Township, Wayne County, Ohio]] on 20 April 1814. He was listed in the 1820 Census and tax records of Ohio 1816, 1818 and 1820. Family [[Bible records]] were used as evidence.

Biographical Sketch

Archibald Ross was born about 1766 in Antrim, Ireland. He married Mary Ann (Molly) Morrison in 1792. Mary Ann Morrison was born 1770 in Westmoreland, Pennsylvania. (1798-1845), Archibald Jr. (1801-1884), Reynolds Randall (1802-1845) and Henry (1805-1894). Archibald Ross died September 1850 at the age of 84 years in Holmes Co. Ohio.
