Know ye, That Frank C. Gerlach, a

Captain of Co. D, of the 8th Regiment

of Ohio Infty. Volunteers, who was enrolled on the 26th

day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-

Eight, to serve Two Years, or during the war,

is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the UNITED STATES, by reason of

Muster out per telegraphic instructions A G O

Washington Sept. 1. 1898

  • NO OBJECTION TO HIS REENLISTMENT IS KNOWN TO EXIST

The said Frank C. Gerlach was born in

Wooster, in the State of Ohio

and when enrolled was 28 years of age, 6 feet 4 inches high,

Light complexion, Light eyes, Light hair, and by occupation

a Druggist

GIVEN at Wooster. O this 21st day

of Nov. 1898
