  • 1832: Cholera was in Wooster, Ohio and caused the death of Bishop Edward Fenwick of the Catholic Church while he was on a visit here dying at Coulter's tavern.
  • 1833: Cholera broke out at Mt. Eaton, Ohio after the arrival of French emigrants, the Beaverstine family. Reportedly, twenty-six people died from the disease.
  • 1853: Cholera came to Wooster, Ohio where several people were taken sick. Two deaths were reported from the disease: Thomas Mullins and James Mullins.
