"New Mayor Gets On Job Today. Acting Mayor C. L. Moody's first official act was performed just a few hours after he assumed the duties of the office Thursday. It was the swearing in of a special policeman who goes on duty at a local industrial plant. Arrangements have been made so that Justice Yost will try any criminal cases that may demand a hearing during the absence of Mayor Fisher. The case of Geo. Krieger vs Dr. A. T. Bashford, involving a comission for the sale of property has been postponed until January 16th."
