The Murder

Description

On Sunday, September 2nd, 1973, police discovered the Davis' bodies in the cab of a pickup truck off a private drive. The two had left the day before to transfer the name of the truck to Betty Davis. The two had been legally separated since August. Witnesses stated the truck had arrived at its location at 3 pm the day before. The coroner concluded that at that time the murder was committed.[1]

Betty Davis was said to have been shot the the hip and head area by her former husband John Davis. John was said to have shot himself in the head shortly after. [2]
