Located at 437 E. Pine St., The Sugar Bowl was the predecessor to Wooster's well-loved The Shack. It was owned and operated by George Stavropoulos [1] and William Syriopoulos (later known as William Syrios). As a confectionery, the Sugar Bowl gave its customers a chance to satisfy their sweet tooth. Over the years, the Sugar Bowl saw a number of changes. This included a change in proprietors as George Stavropoulos went on to pursue other business ventures while William Syriopoulos continued run the Sugar Bowl.
