  • 1887 - July 28, Lake Talbot stocked with German Carp, [4]
  • 1897 - July 14, A physician stated that Lake Talbot is fed by springs and is dangerous because the water is cold and creates cramps in ankles and limbs making the swimmers unable to swim. [5]
