Gus Kauffman Family Bible
Bible Info
This German Bible was originally loaned to the Wooster Public Library and Museum in 1921 by Gus Kauffman. Apparently, he never took it back and it was then taken to the Wayne County Historical Society of Ohio in 1958 when all contents of the Library's Museum were transferred and given to the Historical Society. Nobody at the Wayne County Historical Society of Ohio could read the German handwriting for a proper translation. Please note the Wayne County Historical Society of Ohio no longer accepts any Family Bibles into their collections as all genealogical research requests and information is directed to the Wayne County Public Library, Genealogy and Local History Department.
