- I am still not sure of the relationship between Mary Griffith and the two young teens (Elizabeth and Rachael) residing with her in the 1850 US Census. I am only guessing Mary is a grandmother. It is possible she is related differently. I am hoping that some additional answers may be discovered for you in Bond Co, IL.
