Evangelical Lutheran Church located in, West Lebanon in Paint Township was established in 1831/1832. It was a log house that stood near where the present day St. Paul’s church stands. Sources found for this church were History of Wayne County, Ohio, Ben Douglas, 1878, page 591 and Wooster Daily Record, 6 Sep 1948.
