I am sending 5 packets of information on the Eby family.

• Incomplete family group sheet on Abraham Eby and David Eby. In the estate papers of Abraham Eby, there is a son David Eby listed. Other children include Catherine (William) Fox and Mary Eby. There is a granddaughter listed as Fyanna/Fianna (Abraham) Martin. I am not sure how this granddaughter ties in with the family. • 1830 US Census form Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with Abraham Eby as the head of household. I believe I have the correct 1840 US Census; however, no township is indicated. I lose track of him prior to 1830 and in the 1850 US Census. He shows up in 1860 living two houses from David Eby and his family. With Abraham is his daughter Mary Eby. • The US Census for 1850 for David Eby in Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Next door to him is Jacob Eby. Jacob Eby is age 59 and David is age 26. I wonder if they are father and son or some other connection? David Eby is in Sugar Creek Township, Wayne County, Ohio, by the 1860 US Census. He remained there in the US Census for 1870 and 1880. • The 1870 US Census for Mary Eby. She is in Sugar Creek Township, Wayne County, Ohio. • The 1870 US Census for William and Catherine Fox (daughter and son-in-law of Abraham Eby). They are in Tuscarawas Township, Stark County, Ohio. • The 1900 US Census abstract showing Susan Brainard residing in Standish Township, Arenac Coounty, Michigan. • The 1900 US Census abstract showing Elizabeth, widow of David Eby, residing with their children Elias, Arclissa, and Eliza Eby. • The 1820 US Census for Elizabeth, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with an Abraham Eby. This is the incorrect one. I am including this census as a means of elimination. • The Probate Court file #6075 for David Eby. • The Probate Court file #3267 for Abraham Eby. In the file, there are documents that name David Eby as a son; Mary Eby as a daughter, and Catherine (William) [[Fox (surname)|Fox as a daughter. There may be other clues. There are at least two other sons of Abraham, at least according to the US Census records. • Probate Court file #12225 for Elizabeth Eby. • Death Certificate abstracts for several of David and Elizabeth’s children. The actual documents may be found through https://familysearch.org. • Compiled ancestor charts available through https://familysearch.org. • The Ebi Family of Stark County, Ohio. I have included some select pages. I believe this is a different branch than the one you are researching. I have included these pages as a means of elimination. • Burial records for Eby in West Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery. • Wayne County, Ohio Death Record for David Eby vol. 1 p. 148. • Stark County, Ohio Death Record abstract for Catharine Fox. • Find-A-Grave records for Abraham and Maria C. Eby and William and Catherine (Eby) Fox. • Stark County, Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions for Abraham and Maria C. Eby and William and Catherine (Eby) Fox.

I hope some of this information helps you sort through the David Eby family.
