Comprehensive History
In 1935, W. F. Mellott left his pulpit at the Federated Church at Holmesville, Ohio, to form the company bearing his name. The company was dedicated to spiritual materials: in 1960, approximately half of the company's sales came from the distribution of the New Chain Reference Bible, and other booklets of Bible verses and spiritual aids were also published and distributed under the company's name[1].
