Trinity Lutheran Church was located on East Messner Road, about 1100 feet west of Township Road 49, in Franklin Township. It was established as Trinity English Lutheran Church in 1861 when members came from Jacob's Lutheran Church in response to differences over whether English or German should be used. The church was torn down in 1935.
