"When I was 21.

"When I was 21 years old, I was working as a tailor in the Hookway shop, which stood on Liberty street where the Palace Restaurant is now located. In after years I went to business for myself, but forty years I have been working in business places that faced or now face on Liberty street."

Mr. Lautzenheiser says that, there are only three business houses in Wooster now under the same name as that of forty years ago and three firms are the The Freedlander company, the William Annat Company, and F. H. Harding and Co.. Mr. Lautzenheiser says that he believes that Attorney A. D. Metz is the only professional man now in active duty who was in the city forty years ago."
