A guaranteed minimum monthly wage plan for all time and piece-workers has just been instituted by The Wooster Brush Company.
To eliminate seasonal or month-to-month fluctuations in the earning of factory employees, the company is guaranteeing an assured wage each month in the event any employee's actual earning during that month should drop below a minimum amount based in his or her average pay over the preceding year.
It is felt that this guaranteed minimum wage will go far toward each employee enjoying more stable security and contribute much to the general welfare of the whole organization as well as the community. This newest plan is in addition to a long list of other Social Security and Employee Welfare Plans which have been in effect in The Wooster Brush Company for many years, including a liberal profit-sharing plan, a monthly bonus system, accuracy premiums, employee stockholders, sick benefits, vacation pay, free life and accident insurance, emergency relief association and others.
