Comprehensive History

Newman Creek Presbyterian Church located in, Baughman Township on the border of Wayne and Stark counties was established in 1813. The church disbanded in 1842 and some of the congregation moved to Marshallville Presbyterian Church. The building was moved to Canal Fulton. Sources found for this church were Church Histories of Wayne County Ohio, Wipert pg. 107 and History of Wayne County, Ohio, 1987, page 66.
