Notes
The Joseph Blough Family Bible has a brown leather binding with the finish wearing off to a tan color. The Bible was has been customized in a manner which reinforces the structural integrity of the Bible. The Center detail is in the shape of a a 6 petaled flower with rivets at the center and edges of the "petals." Two clasps at the fore edge of the Bible remain in working condition. It is not known if the clasps were part of the later reinforcement of the Bible. Stamping detain on the top front cover reinforcement includes the letters "J" and "B." The book is in good shaped despite some of the family records pages being separated from the binding in the center of the Bible. The text of the Bible is in German.
