Green Township, Wayne County, Ohio

Green Township was established February 5, 1817 and was named after Major General Nathaniel Greene, a revolutionary soldier from Warwick, Rhode Island.[1]

It was formed from all of the originally surveyed townships 17 and 18 in range 12.[2]
