George Faber
George Faber is a native of Prussia. This store had a fine collection of stuffed birds on display.

- 1887 - Mr. Farber is one of the oldest and most competent bakers in this county, and has been in business here nearly 24 years. He supplies the citizen, as well as dealers in the city, with the choicest fresh bread, cakes, pies, crackers, etc., and is prepared to supply fine pyramid or fancy cakes, with choice confectioneries, fruits, etc., for weddings, parties, picnics or festivals on reasonable terms. Mr. Farber, who is a native of Prusia, has been a resident of this county for many years. He takes special interest in ornithology, and exhibits in his general salesroom the finest collection of stuffed birds to be found in the state, and his place is the resort of the best class of citizens. Warm meals or lunch is served at all hours. [1]
