WROTE TO CARNEGIE

But the Library King Refused to Let Go

The great necessity for some more money for the Wooster trustees of the Carnegie library to write to Mr. Carnegie, asking him if he could not give a couple of thousand more dollars to the good cause assuring him that it would be put to a use fully worthy the gift.

Monday the reply was received. It was from the secretary to Mr. Carnegie, and in it the secretary stated that Mr. Carnegie could not give anything more to the Wooster library.
