"Wooster is to be congratulated upon the enterprise and energy of her ladies, who have pushed through to completion and use by the public, a free reading room centrally located, thus fulling a genuine need among the people. The Woman’s Christian Association organized to carry on the good work may reasonably be expected in the very nature of things to develop into the conduce of yet more important undertakings, not the least of which is the free public library that Wooster has needed so long. All of this depends upon the support given by the general public, and that we hope will be generous not only now at the start but always, never flagging or failing."
