SHREVE LIBRARY Continued From Page One Really want this new facility. This is where this group formed on December 9 can really help in showing the Board that we are interested, so that when funds do become available they will feel that the place to appropriate them is to the Shreve Branch and adding it to the Westwood Estate, this dream of Martha Bonnett Westwood can become a reality. This is why I urge each and every citizen to buy at least one membership in this drive to build a fund separate from the County Funds so that the County board knows that we will back them not only in spirit but with funds for this new facility in our community.

President James Carmichael will consult with Miss Hauenstein, Wayne County Librarian for information about the building of a library and will report back to the group on Wednesday, January 20 a 7:30pm at the Town House. This meeting is open to the public and I would like to see so many people in attendance that they have to move to larger quarters for the meeting. Each of us here in Shreve and the surrounding area would be doing ourselves, our children and their children a great favor by using the present and future facilities of the Shreve Library more often. No better way is available to us in showing the County Board of our interest in this project than that of just simply using these services. If you can not get to our Library send your children. A vast collection of knowledge lies inside the four walls, we really should put it to better use.
