The house once located at 342 W. Liberty St. was torn down and the property became part of Smetzer's Tire business. A past resident of this house, Wm. Albert Wilson (1853-1924), was a druggist as a young man, first a partner in the firm of Roller & Wilson, and later operating the business himself. Therefore he knew the value of the ginseng plant and spent many years cultivating ginseng in the grove of trees at the rear of his W. Liberty street home.
