The 19-room, 5,600 square-foot brick house located at 245 Beall Ave. was built in 1861 by early local businessman and politician, Anthony Wright who married Elizabeth Walter in 1855. The Wright's had twins, one of whom died unnamed and the other was Sarah "Elizabeth" Wright. She married J.M. Quinby. The Quinbys purchased the house in 1899. Then in 1908 it was sold to William and Mary Fike. In 1960, half the property was transferred to the Fike's three daughters and the other half to their granddaughter, Elizabeth Lorson. Who became sole owner in 1987 and lived in the home as a recluse letting it fall into disrepair until 2007 when it was purchased by the Noble Foundation, who rejuvenated the house and property, for use as a residential treatment center.
