FRENCH BIBLE PRINTED IN 1669 BY ELZEVIERS OF AMSTERDAM PLATE ON COVER BEARING DATE 1834 WAS AFFIXED TO BIBLE AT A LATER DATE. BROUGHT TO THE UNITED STATES BY THE GREAT GRANDFATHER OF LOUIS BECKLER. DONOR WAS MRS. LOUIS BECKLER. NUMBER OF DOCUMENTS INSERTED IN BIBLE, AMONG THEM A LETTER FROM THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS, DATED JAN. 13, 1950 WRITTEN TO MRS. LOUIS BECKLER ABOUT THE PRINTING OF THE BIBLE.
