Comprehensive History
Associate Congregation of Wooster was located on South Buckeye Street. It was a Presbyterian congregation established in August 1817. A building was erected in 1819 and another building on the same site in 1837. It merged with the Associate Reformed Congregation of Wooster in 1858 under the name of The United Presbyterian Church of Wooster with a total membership of 120.
