Comprehensive History
The two-story house built in the Victorian Italianate style sometime before 1856 housed three notable Wooster families: Dr. James D. Robison and family, Andrew M. and Malinda Parrish and family, and Dr. Alonzo C. and Gail Smith and family. After Dr. Smith died in 1943, his widow Gail owned the house, and after a second marriage to Ted Robson, she sold the house in 1960 to the City of Wooster for demolition and the construction of a new fire station.
