RECENTLY LOCATED COLORS OF THE GALLANT OLD EIGHTH
Here are the colors of the old Eighth Ohio, resurrected in an obscure corner in the basement of the State House, at Columbus, where they were “lost” for a quarter of a century.
This picture of the colors is used through the courtesy of the Columbus Dispatch.
The man in the middle is Captain M. A. Carleton of Columbus, who was in command of Company A, Bucyrus.
