MEMORIAL HOSPICE ERECTED IN FRANCE

PICTURED above is the architect’s drawing of the memorial hospice erected at Montfaucon, France, by the state of Ohio in memory of the boys of the 37th Division who made the supreme sacrifice on the battlefield of the Meuse-Argonne in September, 1918, and which will be dedicated early next month during the 37th Division dedication pilgrimage. The hospice was designed by Robert R. Reeves, Columbus architect, whose drawings were accepted from a field of many who competed in a general competition open to Ohio architects. The hospice will be presented to the village of Montfaucon by Capt. John A. McSweeney, former congressman from Wooster, and will be received by Raymond Poincare, former premier of France.
