Funk, Ohio
Historical Information
The village of Funk was known as Kauffman Corners until December 7, 1894. The village was platted for John and Sarah Austen at this name and was renamed Austen. Later, since there was another town named Austen in Ohio, it was renamed to Funk.[1]
