Biographical Sketches

Charles Follis was born in Botetourt County, Virginia in 1878. He was the son of James H. Follis and Catherine Anderson Follis. He died in 1910 of pneumonia.

According to an article published on 24 February 1995, Follis played on the first-ever Wooster High School football team and lead them to an undefeated season in 1899.
