This collection includes 16 notebooks of family information on a variety of surnames. The notebooks include the genealogy notes of Edna Buss.

Edna Gearhart was born 18 May 1887 in Wayne Township, Wayne County, Ohio to William F. and Mary (Snyder) Gearhart. She married Walter J. Buss in 1912. Walter Buss was the secretary-treasurer and manager of the Wayne County Fair for 40 years. He died in 1970.

Edna (Gearhart) Buss was very active in the local historical societies. She is one of the founders of the Wayne County Historical Society and Museum. She served as the society's first secretary and worked to establish and furnish the Wayne County Historical Society's museum.

The full obituary on Edna Buss can be found in the Wooster Daily Record on 27 October 1975. The obituary on her husband may be in the newspaper on 8 March 1970.
