Biographical Sketch
Jemima "Mime" Ewing was born on 27 October 1842 to Robert and Mary (Dawson) Ewing. Jemima married Mr. J. G. Bittinger on 4 July 1867 in Wayne County, Ohio. [1] On 16 Mar 1873, Jacob and Jemima had a son, James C. Bittinger. [2]
Jemima Bittinger came to Pike Station, now Creston in 1870 and operated a millinery business from her home for 49 years. She retired in 1919. [3] She died on 18 August 1927 in Creston, Wayne County, Ohio.
