General Ammon Broughton Critchfield ran for the office of U. S. Representative 17th District in 1910 Nov 8: William A. Ashbrook (Dem), elected; A. B. Critchfield (Rep), defeated; Edward Schmidt (Socialist), defeated; John H. Dickason (Prohibition), defeated. Adjutant General of Ohio in 1904. Founded the Camp Perry Shooting Range.
