The large wood frame house located at 327 N. Bever St. was built in 1864 for property owner Ms. Eliza Kob. However, it is unlikely that she ever lived in the house as it seems she sold the house soon after it was constructed. This Italianate style residence has a T-shaped footprint. The facade is dominated by a wrap-around front porch supported with stone bases and fluted square columns. A wide overhanging cornice with paired brackets lines the second story roof line. The house was recognized by the Wayne County Historical Society of Ohio as a Pioneer House in 1977 for applicant Floyd Hunsicker.
